Biography |
Starvin' Sid are a
4-piece blues-rock band from Cleethorpes on the East coast,
rapidly gaining in popularity for their energetic, humorous
improvisational interpretations
of a wide range of blues styles. The
Cavern performance stands out in the bands history as memorable on
account of Sid ( the Starvin' one
) being totally unaware that he was performing
there until being pushed onto the stage. The gig that followed
had the crowd rocking from the
first ( naturally ) shaky bars to the riotous
guest enhanced encore. So much so that they were invited to perform
on the same evening in " The
Big Room " with actual money and beer ( as if they
needed it ) as an incentive.
